Chordn has a long history of pioneering innovative products and services.


Established in the early 1960s in Italy, by the Founder Antonio Ricci. Chordn has defined itself as company of innovation and service, researching and manufacturing industrial parts to serve the engineering needs of industrial, medical and military industries.

SINCE 1970
SINCE 1970

In 1970, the Electrical Division was established with Ruggiero Ricci in charge, and a group of advanced technicians were introduced to research and develop automation products.


SINCE 1978
SINCE 1978

In 1978, Chordn invented the first PID based temperature control system, supplying to military industries.


The influence of the CHORDN brand has gradually increased, and it has become a well-known expert in temperature control.

SINCE 1989
SINCE 1989

In 1989, Chordn launched the first small fast-acting protective fuses to prevent test instruments from burning out.


Since that groundbreaking first step, our company has continued to define the standard in the circuit protection industry, dedicated to providing the perfect circuit protection solutions. Shortly afterward, Ferraz acquired the Chordn fuse development and production division, retaining the Chordn brand and its technology.

SINCE 2005
SINCE 2005

In 2005, CHORDN set up a plant manufacturing fuse in Taiwan to facilitate the supply for customers in Asia.


SINCE 2012
SINCE 2012

In 2012, R&D solid state relay technologist Marc joined the company, giving birth to the Chordn solid state relays series and Chordn’s Brazil production factory.

In 2019, AICO Automation general manager Ming Wan became a shareholder of CHORDN.
